Building Poke at Interaction

Interaction is a small, dense team in Palo Alto shipping Poke - an AI assistant you talk to like a person, right inside your texts. It reads your inbox, runs your errands, and remembers what matters. I work across the stack: the agent loop, the systems that keep it fast and reliable, and the product details that make it feel effortless.

THE PRODUCT

Poke - an AI assistant that lives where you already are: your messages.

THE WORK

Agent systems, reliability, and the small details that make it feel human.

THE PLACE

On the ground in Palo Alto with a tight, ambitious founding team.

A little about Yok

JUST TURNED A YEAR WISER

Birthday was June 17. Spent it the way that suits me best: shipping good software with people I like.

Another year, faster.

THE SHORT VERSION
  • Minnesota-grown, Palo Alto-based - chasing the hardest problems in AI.
  • Goes from idea to shipped quickly, then keeps polishing until it feels right.
  • Happiest at the intersection of fast systems and thoughtful product.
  • Believes the best tools disappear into how you already work.

Let's build something worth talking about.
